I believe you can just stop by the cafe for a coffee, but you have to make reservation online (and pay)to spend time with the kitties. There is a separate room.
There is no fee to visit the Cafe and gift shop. To spend time behind the glass and in the room with the Cats, there is a reasonable fee. Check out the website as it is very informative.
