Parking lots towards the end of the walk is usually cheaper.

There's usually, no reasonable place to park. Unless you want to go during non tourist season which the come during the Summertime. Best time to come would be in the Fall around October early November times. That way you can enjoy the full sites of Hollywood without the over crowded sidewalks and being bumped around. Just watch out for Homeless People that try to scam you.
