I love this place I go once a week for there gumbo because it's close to home for me and turkey wings be slamming
Horrible food. I do not reccomend. My friend from New Orleans was in town. I took her there listening to others. I never write or complain. This was really bad. I was embarassed!
I have no idea when or if you even ate at this place bcuz the gumbo sells all day everyday. Thousands of people disagree.
Gumbo is not supposed to be thick so if someone is giving you thick gumbo I would give it back and every time I’ve gotten gumbo from here it’s had seasoning shrimp crab chicken and sausage in it
Did you order the Ya-Ya gumbo which consists of only sausage and turkey meat? Where did you order the seafood gumbo? I've never had an unpleasant experience as far as my food not having what it's supposed to. And their roux is amazing.
Sorry about your poor experience, mine was completely different. Did you atleast speak with the attendant about the lack of seasoning and seafood? I know sometimes all restaurants have subpar meals. Good luck next time
