What is your policy regarding rabies shots for a very senior dog (13) and in poor shape. We are going for quality instead of quantity at this time. Also, are owners allowed to be with their dog for general visits?

We follow the AVMA Rabies compendium and the laws of the State of Washington that require vaccinating for rabies every 3 years after the initial 1 year booster, and we examine the dog with the owner present. Most surgical and dental procedures are done in the absence of the owner. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to contact the clinic at 452-9920

I personally believe that all DOGS should be updated on all shots regardless of age. It's good to keep them safe and as healthy as possible. Goes for all 4 legged kids. Keep them healthy. (MY personal opinion). I've been with companion for 20 years and I trust Sam.

I dont know about the first part, but I know you can be with your animal while they do the checkup.
