Yeah that's I what I did I just ordered through the app because I have been through similar problems before

I order directly from Krispy-Kreme and they use door dash to deliver. I'm sorry you had such a problem, that's never happened to me before. Next time I would order directly thru Krispy-Kreme and see how it goes.
