While most fast food restaurants completely wrap their burgers, In n Out uniquely packages them so that they are partially exposed. It's part of their experience. However, it does cause problems if you aren't eating there. It's not just the receipt getting stuck on the cheese but they always put a napkin partially under the burger and it gets dirty when it flips back on the burger.
