Our car was broken into on the 13800 block of Boquita Drive on Sunday night. How (and to whom) should we report this? This neighborhood is becoming more and more targeted which is so frustrating!

You can also go to the City of San Diego website and report the crime online, bypassing the long hold on the phone call.

Call the local SDPD non-emergency number to have an Officer meet you and take a report. But as a warning, it may take a while for them to come out, depending on what other calls they have at the moment. The number is 619-531-2000.

Thank you Tyler. There was an officer going door to door last week, checking to see who has cameras on our block. This is definitely a hot target area for break-ins.
