We've been memberships since my oldest son was 6 months old (over 5 years) and all of my children have loved it even pre-1year. We did normal go during non-peak times so that older kids didn't run over them.
They do have an area where the smaller children can play but it does have a water table which has a strong pool smell at first, other than that in the same area it has dress up, can take photos for that, the water table is motorized you can set up lanes and watch the ducks go down that lane. They have small bead mazes for the little hands ! But honestly the room is pretty much it for playing everything is for the older kids. If your local give it a shot. If you decide to go let me know!
