We normally pierce noses with an 18-gauge stud. Hoops are not recommended. It is rare for anyone to pierce their nose with a thicker gauge than 18, but we can do it if a customer prefers a thicker gauge :)

I believe its whatever you choose. I think they have different sizes available.
