How do I go about emergency shelter? Is there a cutoff time? Especially on a weekend? Ive never had to find a shelter so Im not familiar with the protocol.

Yes, there are cut off times for most shelters. For St. Patrick's you will need to arrive at 3;00pm, Monday through Saturday. If you get a bed on Saturday, you automatically have a bed on Sunday. You have to leave the shelter at 7:30am everyday, except Sunday. On Sunday, you can stay in all day.

Hi Caitlin, you should call now to find out if they have any beds available for tonight. Usually you have to be there for the lottery at 3 pm each day. Since it's after 3 I would suggest giving them a call. Good luck....let me know when you find a place for the night.
