It can get rough. Now that they bring out only six new carts, everyone is sqeezed together and there's pushing and shoving. I told the Goodwill safety manager that it is a liability issue, and that they should go back to bringing out 12 carts like they used to do. If anyone gets hurt, they should sue Goodwill, because they have been informed that 6 carts is a safety/liability issue.
I usually wait because most of the people there dont even know what the good stuff is LOLLOL 😅 Also all the other bins that everyone walked away from.🤣 They did all the hard work and moved all the bottom stuff to the top..omg the secret is out...I'm just being friendly out here🙂😉
They have set some guidelines and are warning people. I think this really helped. They didn’t have as much as some of the other ‘by the pound’ stores, so I don’t know why ppl would be so rude, but maybe they need it more than I do. (Trying to be generous here.)
Yes. It does get rough at times . I sometimes bring a friend So when they bring the bins out we both are there to grab what we like. I think many of the people buy things to resell on e-bay, etc. I do agree to some point that people there can get a little out of hand. When that happens I just back off, just not worth it.
If you have been you can tell the staff. I go there often and haven't had an issue but I do proceed with caution.
Last time I was there, a cop was present; seemed friendly and new everyone. The bin searching seemed intense but no one was out of hand.
