Been around town and even my buddies from work will drive halfway around the City to score some Hawkins burgers. It's a hood spot, outsiders always complain about the wait and how it looks. You're not paying for ambiance...you're paying for a solid burger and fries. Still the best burger in town.
I have to say I concur with Tony. The food is delicious and U can call in ur order to go to avoid the wait.
Mr.Brown the place is across the street from one of the most notorious projects in all la that hamburger stand as a staple in that community people don't mind waiting an hour luz that's where you talk you communicate with one another you talk about neighborhood stuff when people from other places come there they expect something ohh hands down the best burger in the city...
