do i need to take the permit test to dmv first and contact you guys for the training or i can train with you guys now and get the cert then go to dmv to get the permit? also if i finish this course do i still need to do the driving part at dmv?

Kung Pao Kitten, you do not need your permit first. You can take the class, wait till the certificate comes in the mail then go to the DMV take the tests. (18q dl renewal and 15q motorcycle) The certificate allows the DMV to waive the m/c drive test and as long as you pass the written tests you'll get your license that day. (Paper, the hard card DL takes about 2 weeks till come in the mail. )

I did the course and recieved my certificate 5 days later, and got my license the following day

I got my permit first and then took the course. It helped me to do it that way so I could practice while waiting for my certificate.

It is your choice, you can take the permit test first or wait till after you have completed the class. Once you get the certificate from the school (a waiver so you don't have to ride at DMV) you have to take it down to the DMV, so I would wait to take the permit test so you only have to go once!
