Everything in TUC is operated by Aramark, a 3rd party food service company. They have a monopoly on food service management at UC through complicated contracts and rules. The chick fil A is not an authentic chick fil A but is operated under Aramark. The restaurant on UC's campus can basically do whatever they want without being questioned. For example, i dont think the employees are expected to say the well known "My Pleasure" in response to a customer saying "Thank you". While it is unfortunate that they do not seem to accept gift cards, they do accept cash in addition to credit and bearcat card.
I don't think those can be used at Express locations.
