How do you slaughter the cow if you shoot it I'm going to be very sad I would rather eat meat that is slaughtered by a knife because all the blood will come out of it...please answer

I knew someone long ago that raised a bull and killed it and they hung it upside down just like a goat I don't know for how long but that's all I know
