The next time that happens, call a manager over...they have to give you what is being advertised..if not, that's false advertising and the business could be heavily fined. This has happened to me b4 and management was always courteous and helpful..and honored the advertised special(s). If for some reason you have a problem with them honoring what they're advertising, call POEYES 800 customer SERVICE NUMBER..they will make it good.
I had a similar problem. Manager wouldn't honor it. Expiration date was good too. I havent returned since.

That's a training issue and not only should a manager be involved but ask for a corporate number to issue a formal complaint
Agree with L. Williams human error😒 we all make them...ask Manager to honor advertisement most will accommodate happily...look for the good!!!
I'm not particularly surprised by that at this location either.
