The spring is still there. It is part of the whole park that's there. You can't swim in it because the water is not safe. A few years back they tried to go up and figure out where the pollutants were coming from but it just wasn't feasible to to redo that so they build a beautiful pool there instead. It's a very lovely area.
People, please understand; this spring is only 1 or 1-1/2 feet deep. Too shallow for swimming. The resident fish species wouldn't appreciate us humans trampling their spawning grounds. It also smells of sulfur. The pool was created alongside the spring.
