The website for VidCon says the event is welcome for all ages to atrend. Kids 12 and under need an adult with them to attend.

There are certainty parts of the event that are in appropriate for kids. I believe there is a reduced price for children as well.

You'll have to go to that particular companies website and see what vidcon 2018 is offering in regards to appropriateness for children. 😊
