I paid for the warranty with Car Max, does that mean I have to have Car max do all my oil changes or can I take it somewhere closer to me?

You got a warranty not a maintenance package. You can take it to any certified mechanic. Just keep your receipt to keep a record of your maintenance.

Yes. But if you have a warranty it may cheaper or free to do it at Carmax
