I'm one of the managers at the store and the correct answer is no. Its private property owned by Ocean view high school and they will not allow it. The signs are posted at each driveway into the complex states no overnight parking or camping. Lot closes at 11pm HBPD at midnight drove through the lot to issue out situations and tow the overnight parkers. Several have been towed.

I Don't think you can, now... People Used to be able to RV camp behind the store for legitimate RV camping. You would have to talk to the store manager at the location you are interested in.. The homeless population has really got out of hand in Orange County, California, and so many of the places that used to allow it, so they had to change their policies, because it was becoming a dangerous, & offensive public nuisance. If you are a traveler, and its on your way, the store manager might be OK with it. I would check it out with the store manager first, before expecting it to be OK... And being disappointed.
I used to see RVs parked there a lot but not anymore.

I'm not so sure. I stopped at a wal mart and was asked to leave. I was only taking a call and may have been there 10 minutes during non business hours
