Unfortunately, ever since they were reviewed in the LA Weekly their burritos keep getting smaller. They still taste great, they're just shrinking.
Is it deflating? More like inflation.
It's very delicious!
Yes, very true. In the 70s I lived directly behind across the alley, Pennsylvania Ave, from Al & Bea's. The pricing was $0.50 for a bean and cheese burrito, chicharron was about $1.50. The size has shrunk and the price rocketed reallly high. Overall it translates to the chicharron burrito costing about $10 today. I try to get some of their burritos once in a blue moon. Their location is not convenient by car, parking issue, or by bus, infrequent schedule stops. And obviously the value is lousy. Take-out is the norm for most while the so called dine-in is not really desirable at all even during normal times.
Over rated first time and last time left there still hungry
how is theyre food?is it good or not
The wet burrito is a goos size. But for sure the probably have the biggest burritos around for the price
