I hear the pay is not enough to raise a family on. I thought about trying to get a job there but that pay I can't pay rent and bills.
Most likely it is due to a shortage of personnel. This area has a problem with maintaining job positions full that are historically filled by teenage labor during school sports seasons. The go getters tend to have full extra carricular school activities during the evening / early night hours. Burger King as well as several other restaurants have been having difficulty filling open positions with help they can trust for some time now, so many businesses have no choice but to remain short staffed after the main meal time rush hours.
