You do have to buy the amount the flowers come in 12 ,24, etc. Each vendor does have their own policies about ordering and pick up. You should talk to each seller that has something you are interested in. The closer you pick them up to when you will.actually use them, the fresher they will be.

Florist get priority when it comes to getting certain colors, that is for sure and yes, you have to buy bulk. For instance, you are planning on using 6 roses of a particular color, you still have to buy 24 to get the 6 that you want. And that goes for all the other flowers you want to use. You can pick up earlier in the week but if your wedding is in the middle of August or September and you don't have adequate refrigeration, you may be in trouble. Some flowers need to be refrigerated for the most part. Hope that helps.
