1.) Why do I have to keep replacing the battery in my Lincoln MKZ so I can start my car? It happens every 3 or 4 months. I do not put near my cellphone. 2.) why has top of both our keys broken off so we can’t use keying?

Sorry meant to say Battery in my KEY RING. And we can’t use KEY RING because the silver tops stay on ring and the large black part falls out. It never did this until parts dept. started replacing batteries. Now we have 2 broken keys. And we should not have to replace batteries every 3-4 months either.

The breaking of the keys seems to be a defect in the key manufacturing. Ask your dealer to replace key or contact the key manufacturer. Ask your dealer for that information or go on line and search for the information. There is a solution out there it may take some work on your end.

Must be bad ones ,? Doesn't sound normal
