Dont think your allowed to drink in any public beach anymore. You could take beer at your own risk but i would not recommend it. I seen some ladies drinking a 40 each they had the rental bikes on the beach while drinking in a blanket keeping to them selves. Yiu can probably drink just not expect to get drunk and dont get spotted because you might get sited wit open container or drinking in public.

Its a public beach so i say no...but i dont see'um checking ice chests or stuff and people still drink but are cool about, you know, on the down low...etc.
