What time does Disneyland close on new year's eve and are there any special guest on that day?

I would think that they would close both parks at 1am... but double check the Disneyland Park app.

Disneyland closes at 2am on New Year's Eve and California Adventure at 1am, and California Adventure is only open 9am - 9pm on New Year's Day and Disneyland from 9am - 11pm on New Year's Day.
