Take your ticket to any of the fastpass locations in the park and scan it. Each ride will have it's own location close to the entrance of the ride.

If you go to the attraction, using your park ticket to receive your reservation, you can only get one fast pass at a time. You can't get one for several different attractions at once. The time on the first fast pass has to expire before getting a new one.
For $10 per ticket per day you can get a MaxPass to manage fast passes on your phone and avoid the ticket kiosks. It also gets you unlimited photo downloads.
You take your park ticket to the fast pass distribution at that attraction (if you can't find it, ask the cast member at the entrance of the standby line), and insert it barcode facing up. You then will receive a printed reminder of your one hour window to return. When you return, you will scan your park ticket barcode facing up at the fast pass return entrance. Another way to obtain fast passes is to download the Disneyland app, attach your park ticket to the app, and purchase max pass ($10/day/person) which allows you to obtain fast pass without having to actually walk all the way to the attraction's distribution machine. Max pass also let's you download your on-ride and photopass pictures for that day.
Make sure you download the Disney app. Fast pass is only available on certain rides so make sure you check on that. You just have to go the machines usually by the entrance or near the ride and scan your ticket. I believe you can get a fast pass every 2 hours
