my daughter is 2 so I wanted to know does she need a ticket to get in even though she is for free just to get her in or do I not need to show anything for her to get her through the entrance?

As long as your daughter is under the age of 3 should be free no need to take any proof

Correct, under 3...inside Disney for free is where she will be.
