I have a family of 7, myself, my husband and 5 kids ages 16,13, 9, 8, and 1. Will I be miserable staying behind with my 1 year old while my husband and older kids ride the rides or are most attractions baby friendly?

Try some of the shows. No height or age requirements and some are amazing. That said, at least half of the rides are for the whole family. Just plan on meeting up occasionally and doing stuff together. I have 4 kids myself: 10, 8, 5, 2.

Honestly the best rides weren't for a 1 year old. You'll have an awesome time regardless, plenty to do/see for all ages through out the park. Sneak away for the Incredicoaster!

I suppose that's relative to your mindset. Me and my wife have been bringing our daughters to Disneyland since they were all babies and most times have been great. The not so great times were usually caused from me just being in a bad mood. Disneyland is an awesome place. They do a great job at making it fun for everyone and the employees are awesome. I think if you go there planning on having a good time, you will and so will your family. And take turns with your 1 year old so you can enjoy some of the non baby friendly rides too.
