One is larger than the other The other is the original and in my opinion has the best rides
I live near Disney World & I have been to Disneyland only once & this is what I think. If you are really into pin trading then D.W. wins cause C.M.s are more into trading there then @ D.L. If you are into Eating & drinking around the world w/o leaving the U.S. then D.W. wins. If you like arriving to the parks late in the day then D.W. wins cause @ D.L. the parks all close between 8pm and 10 depending on the day of week and time of year but @ D.W. it’s between 9pm & 12AM sonetimes 1AM. Now there are some rides that both resorts have in common but they are way better at D.L. (like Pirates and It’s a Small World) & some rides that no longer exist @ D.W. but still do at D.L. & vis versa. Now if you are looking for a timeless place where time seems to never move forword & want a place that makes you feel like you are in the good old days of Disney then D.L. is for you. & if you are into festivals year round, pin trading & and staying @ the parks late then D.W. is for you.
I prefer Disneyland
Disneyland is WAY better. It’s less expensive, much better weather, less crowded, and it’s just a better park with better rides in general.
WDW's Magic Kingdom park is a replica of Disneyland, with some minor variations, like Disneyland has Sleeping Beauty's Castle while WDW has Cinderella's! The Disneyland Resort only offers one additional park, California Adventure, while WDW offers several more besides the Magic Kingdom; Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.... Additionally they have 2 waterparks that Disneyland does not offer. Both locations have their pros and cons, but they both are fantastic and thrilling vacation spots for kids and kids at heart!!
It depends on who you ask. A lot of people love WDW because it's bigger, has more parks, and has more rides. Other people love that Disneyland was the only park Walt Disney ever stepped foot in.
Alright, so I’m here to give you a real a$$ review. I have been to Disneyland and Disneyworld many times. I could tell you the layout of Disneyland super well, and the layout of magic kingdom and Epcot very well (tbh Hollywood studios and animal kingdom aren’t really worth going in my opinion). Disneyland is smaller, but everything is within walking distance and Disney World is basically Disneyland and DCA expanded into four different parks without the cooler rides. The food is way better as well.
Disney World in Orlando is way bigger then Disneyland but to me Disneyland is still better. It depends if you are only going for ride or also to experience Disney way of caring.
WDW is much larger AND therefore more to do and more to spend.
My son is a senior and will be going to grad night and he is also a season pass holder can he use his season pass to get in on grand night or if not did you get a discount on the tickets for Grad niight
Less humidity; smaller park.
WDW is bigger and newer and as someone explained it has additional parks but it's scattered over the span of bigger land so there is much more walking to do to get to the rides. At the end people will go to what's closer to them! so really they are made to attract different graphic areas.
They're both great.
Never been to Orlando but heard it's more of the same. Some day maybe
They are both great but Disneyland is smaller and more original. Disney World is really spread out, you have to drive or take a bus everywhere.
Disney ORLANDO and Disney California is the same it is a replica if you enter the games they are identical if you live in California and you go to ORLANDO do not enter Magic Is the same I recommend Universal Studios it is completely different from California And the other Animal park The Avatar game is great Thanks
Orlando is biger, hotter, more expensive and humid Disneyland is hot during the day on summer time but on evening time is cooler because of the breeze
Disney World 🌎 Is Much Better and Awesome in My Opinion! Epcot Center Was My Favorite!
It all depends on your personal preference. Disney world is more of a tourist vacation spot than Disneyland is. Granted Disney world has 4 theme parks, 27 hotels, and 2 water parks. However the primary difference in my honest opinion (I was just at disney world in February and October of 2019), is the amount of rides within the 4 parks compared to Disneylands two parks. I am an annual passholder to Disneyland and having just visited the florida resort i prefer my two home parks. Sure i wish we had Epcot and Animal Kingdom however im pretty sure the two california theme parks have just as much rides as disney worlds 4 theme parks do. Yes, there are a couple of highlight rides in FL but that goes the same with Disneyland. Also MyMagic+ is a great option in FL it ultimately causes so much longer lines than Disneyland. Avatar flight of passage is two years old an is always a 3 hour line no matter what day. its all preference you cant go wrong with either but CAs parks are my preference
Disney world's Magic Kingdom was built to be much like Disneyland
VERY NICE
They are both good DisneyLand has the Magic kingdom (my favorite) and California Adventure Disneyworld has Animal Kimgdom (my favorite) Epcot, the Magic kingdom, and Hollywood studios.
Disneyland is smaller than the Florida version but they have a couple of rides not found at Disney World. Indiana Jones is one of my favorite rides, and the Pirates of the Caribbean is longer and more detailed. I have heard that Disney World gets a lot more crowded than Disneyland. Also Fantasmic is shown at Disneyland (I believe in Florida it is shown at Hollywood Studios.)
Disney world is larger but the original os considered by many to be better.
A lot smaller but way more classic.
As far I know Disney World is larger than Disneyland.
Its exactly the same. They even cloned the staff..!
it is just about the same.
They're both good for different reasons
Disneyland is way smaller!!!
It feels smaller. A park hopper would be better for California since they are right across from each other. Less hotels and they are more expensive in Ca. But less international tourists, so less busy.
It is smaller than Orlando but this is the original they say. A lot of similar rides in the actual park.
Never been to Orlando, can't cpmpare...
