The following is from Disneyland's website (please note that Downtown Disney no longer has free parking, so get back out before the 15 minute grace period): Please use either of the following locations to pick up or drop off Guests visiting Disneyland Resort theme parks or the Downtown Disney District: Downtown Disney District – Take Magic Way from Disneyland Drive, then turn south toward the Downtown Disney District parking lot and follow signs to the drop-off area. Standard parking rates will apply after the 15-minute grace period. Harbor Boulevard – Enter the drop-off area from the right southbound lane of Harbor Boulevard between Manchester Avenue and Disney Way. These areas may also be used for taxi and rideshare service pickup or drop-off. Please note that while brief waiting is permitted, parking or unattended vehicles are not allowed in either area.

You can drop off/park your car at Toy story parking lot, 300 W Katella Ave, Anaheim and take the complimentary Disneyland shuttle to Disneyland (0.9miles). If you use the parking lot you have to pay $20.

Jessica Golden | Aug 23, 2018

It is the best to drop them off at Downtown Disney

Meekz Boyy | Aug 23, 2018

Honestly take the hotel shuttles if your hotel provides for you, the Sheraton had one and it was a bit of a walk but it was like the build of suspense for the excitement you were about to enjoy 😍

joe tannous | Aug 23, 2018

If you dropping off multiple people and need time for them to get out of the car it might be best to park at Downtown Disney then drop them off as someone answered otherwise if you have one or two people to get out of the the car you can drop them off across the street at the main gate by where the restaurants and hotels are but you can only stop for quick minute

The easiest way to drop off a family to Disneyland Park is to drop them off at Downtown Disney while they buy the tickets if they haven't pre ordered them. Then park and walk down to meet your family. If you have passes go altogether.

CJ Meiko | Aug 23, 2019

Downtown Disney or in the parks. Then they can window shop and look around until you get to them.

George K | Aug 23, 2019

Drop off the altitude of at least 250 yards with corrections for wind, aiming at the ice mountain, you know, the one you can see from the hwy.

Salvador de la Torre | Aug 23, 2018

Wather to the park

James Rogers | Aug 23, 2018

There is a drop off area in Downtown Disney, but you do have to take a ticket to enter and then get back out before the 15 minute free period ends. It is also a bit of a walk through Downtown Disney to the Disneyland Park entrance, but you can jump on the monorail in Downtown Disney and ride that into the park. Its less of a walk to drop off in the official drop off area on Harbor Blvd, then walk in to the park entrance.

Paul Griffin | Aug 23, 2018

In front of the park

Nancy Lam | Aug 23, 2019

Downtown Disney. Not only they can look around the stores (if they are open) and they can either go to Disneyland or California Adventure. Alps, they can take pictures in the front.
