My 79 year old dad donated a beautiful oak dinner table and a blue love seat and all my mamas kitchenware and she had really nice stuff..so I don't understand why they charged him 50 dollars to take it...
Please explain the situation. I have donated and never been charged to donate. You should have gotten a tax receipt and a discount voucher for a certain % off. Did you talk to the store manager or corporate about this. There are many other organizations that will gladly take your donations without charging you. Please remember not all items are accepted due to conduction or law. Certain items can not be resold by law. Hope you can get your money back. I am very sorry for your Loss.
I never got charged instead I was given a voucher credit if I ever wanted to purchase items.
I don't understand why, it's upsetting to me, I thought these were places to help people not for profit. Well I'm sorry, I will not be donating or shopping there anymore.
