I agree with Sefra, Pixar pier is open and last week the incredicoaster was working. We saw Woody and Mike Wisowski by the ferris wheel.

Yes, pixar pier is open (though, the incredibles rollercoaster wasn't working during my last visit), & there are definitely characters to meet & see...i saw lightning mcqueen & Frozone in the last hour i was in the Pixar Pier area, & saw Groot, Pluto, Elsa & Anna as well in the other areas of California adventure 💖
