can an adult accompany a child through the course without actually partaking in the activities. (i.e. walking along)

Yes you can or even drag them like I had 2 do lol

Yes, there are walking trails that follow the entire adventure park and there is no charge to follow along on the ground.

That's definitely a question for the staff. They may have insurance limitations.
