I am traveling from San Luis Obispo--southbound to Santa Ana.. Will I be able to walk directly into the station from the train, or will I have to go upstairs and walk across the tracks and then down? I use a cane and stairs/long walks are hard,

Yes, because southbound form San Luis Obispo means after LA Union Station, you catch either a METROLINK to Oceanside, or an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner to San Diego, when you get off at Santa Ana, the train will stop on track 2, from the platform it's a direct walk to the front of the station!

You will be able to walk directly in. You will be coming from LA UNION. The train will stop on the west side track. You will have the option of a ramp or some steps. The otherside does have an elevator so in either case you will not have to walk aflight of stairs.
