There are laws regarding Sunday trading so they have to close early on a Sunday
Linda said it well. Doesn't apply to the restaurants though. Plus the merchants allow some family/ free time for employees.
Because employees have lives, and if you really want to shop there, you'll find the time that best works for you. Also, the trading laws that Linda mentioned.
Laws regarding Sunday trading??? that sound you hear is me.laughing at the dumbest answer I've ever heard!! The only law in effect here is the law of economics. The stores closed early due to historically lower levels of foot traffic.... during larger demand the stay open longer( think Christmas). Otherwise, they can stay open 24 hours a day if they felt like it.
If this is a real question then im afraid to say that you are the ODD man out.
I have no idea that's the same thing I said the other day but that's just the hours
Linda answered great!
