Yes there are at least two nicer motels directly across the street. There are more down Riverside that are a bit cheaper but you will also deal with the less than pleasent usually homeless that sometimes hustle enough money to get a room for the night.

There are several very nice hotels by the South Medford Walmart. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites, the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott and the Comfort Inn. All great places to stay in south Medford close to Walmart, shopping and restaurants.
