This whole thread sounds more like a conspiracy for profit than it does humanitarionism efforts to help the community.

I don't think that is what happens.

Animal Shelters don't try to kill. They try to get homes for every dog! Please understand they dont kill for money

If people would be more aware of the stress their animals are under this time of year, maybe the situation would improve. If your animals are microchipped the shelters immediately reach out to you.
