Please look into obtaining Bali cherry trees. They came out of Canada and are considered hardy in zone 3a which is our zone

Rhodes has about a dozen of those trees every year around mothers day. They sell out pretty quickly though!

She gets Evans Bali Cherry trees every year if they are available. Usually they are.
