How would I get my ball python to eat frozen/thawed mice? Shes active, is drinking and recently had a BM. She seems interested when I offer her the mouse but won't strike. Maybe she isn't that hungry yet?

Not a python/reptile expert, Shane is. From my limited experience they can go a long while without eating, let them settle in when they're comfortable in their new surroundings they will eat.

Hi Deirdre! She may need more time to settle in. If I remember correctly; it has been less than a week in her new home. Normally I wait two weeks after getting a new snake before attempting to feed them. I would wait until after this weekend to attempt another feeding, and try to keep the handling to a minimum during this period until she is eating well. Your new snake has not had F/T yet, so I would try live rodents until she has eaten a few times for you; then try to make the transition to F/T from there. If you have anymore questions, feel free to message or call us! Sincerely, Shane
