I just called Silverado CC and was told by the reservation dept. that they have all been evacuated, there is no power, and are still at risk of burning. If they remain standing, they plan to reopen on 10/27.

Its still burning,10% containment and wind is forecast. Please dont come now.

Even if they open by then, the entire area will be a mess. Not the dream vacation you thought it would be

Some homes on the northeast of the golf course have burned...completely ...others were almost untouched. I thought I heard that the green I worked during the tournament got burned, so the might be damage to the golf course, too. 10/27 might be optimistic, but the fire is still the boss right now.

That is great to hear, otherwise I think that is possibly optimistic. Was that the resort the 5th 6th and 7th. Friends nearby where evacuated and still no word on when to return. I saw fires first hand close by out of control no Crews support in insight near Coombsville Road. That was late last Monday.
