Better seats they recline and are powered
The shooting that happened at a theater out of state a while back. To help with security and trying to be more safe. I think part of the remodel they did as well.
Many theaters are offering a more high end experience, with the recliners, bigger spacing, and reserve seating. Most other countries this is how theaters are. Prevents long wait lines, and the occasional theater fight about who cut who.
