Yes, bottle return and can return machines are on the side of the building.
YES Outside on the left side of the store is a small brick "building". There are three machines: one for glass, one for plastic, and one for cans HOWEVER...rarely are they in working order and it is a pain to get someone to come and attend to them. I don't even bother to come to this Murray Hill location any more because of this precise problem. My recycling AND my shopping dollars go to other businesses.
