How's does an honorably discharged vet get a visitors pass to shop at the commissary?

If you have an retired military ID you drive on base and have access. You might need to go to VA to see if you are eligible. If not you'd have to have an eligible retired military escort to get you on and into commissary

You have to be active duty or retired to have access to the base/commissary, or have some who has access, escort you on base/commissary.
