How are the mosquitos this year? Are fires allowed in propane set ups only or wood fired? Also how about swimming? We have reservations at the main campground 2nd week in august.

Wood fire is allowed they provide a grate at each set up. There was many with boats and kayaks out there but I think the water is still cool for swimming but you can try!

When we were there we had a wood campfire every day. The mosquitoes were not bad. People were swimming in the lake. Had great weather
