Is climbing the large trees by the picnic area allowed? I do tree work for a living and of course I would climb without Spurs or anything else that would damage the tree.

There is a few good trees for climbing but I am not sure about the rules the parks and recreation office is right there by the picnic area and the police are constantly driving through the area but if you do climb the tree take some pictures for us

I don't know of any specific rule posted at the park about climbing any of the trees. I doubt anyone would call the police on you for climbing without your rig on :)
