Always protect your money and wallet, no matter where you go ... especially casinos. If you purchase cigarettes never set them down or they'll disappear immediately. If you buy several cartons, don't do it until the moment before you leave; they watch you and will break into your car in a heartbeat to get at them. As with any casino, they'll never let you see security camera footage, so don't be up upset about that. It could only be released to law enforcement officers. If you file a police report, sometimes that helps, but don't count on it. The rule is "buyer beware" and only you are responsible for your personal items. It's pretty sad, but this is the world we live in. As a side note, being "pick-pocketed" is the number one complaint in casinos, which usually find come from people that have gambled away everything they have, and want to try to get something back from the casino or have an excuse to tell their family or spouse about where the money went. Not saying you're doing that.
The machine are not rig and i was security personnel there and win the mechine win big and we come there and they change the chip in them to and put a newer one in..yes we have cameras all over that place and second how do you know we have 146 cameras there anyway.
A few years back my cell phone slipped from my pocket and I thought it was gone for good. I called the casino and was sent to security and I gave them my name and what my phone looked like and yeah, it was there. I filled out a form to claim it and voila I had it back.
I've never had that happen to me there ( or anywhere). I'm sorry it happened to you. But, I love Dakota Magic! I just don't like the almost 3 hour drive to get there. I don't always win but I don't think they 'rigged' the machines. I call it gambling.
