Parking is free with limited spaces on the park premises, there a couple of disabled designated spot and just 50 yards across the way there's more public free lot next to the Brixton named (as of 2019) building. People come and go all the time even if they're is a wait it's not going to take long.
Parking is free but small. If the lot is full, you can turn around at the end of the parking lot and drop people off. As another option, the lot across the street is free and the sidewalk is flat.
