I am a 71 year old homeless veteran just arrived in San Diego. I have Parkinson’s but am self sufficient. I need to find a place I can rest my head until I find permanent housing. Can someone advise me what to do?

The alpha project has a section specifically for veterans who are seaking housing. Which means that the case workers have a general idea of what to expect and since there are only veterans staying with you, there is other people who can advise you on possible steps since they know the process.

Thomas, on Thursdays I bring donations to the street behind the main Public Library. I usually arrive at 11:30am and I start passing out donations at 12noon. I am there till usually 2 (depending on how fast the donations go). Then I proceed to the San Diego Day Center (Neil Good Center). From 2pm till usually 4. Neil Good is a good resource as well for you. Hope to see you Thursday! :)
