Great layout, and has always been in good shape.
No membership is required to play there. It is a public course run by American golf. Very nice course. I just happen to be the golf cart mechanic there, I've been working there for close to 8 - 9 years now. Another course I work at for American golf is Tecolote canyon. A smaller 18 hole executive course. A little bit challenging due to the skinny fairways, but a nice course also. Tecolote canyon is where I first was hired. Worked there for a couple of years. Then I was asked if I would be willing to work at the vineyard and Tecolote canyon. Worked at both courses for about 5 yrs. Now I'm just working at the vineyard only. We had lost one of are other courses we managed. Balboa. The city took back over that course and we had to move personel around to other courses. Trained the current mechanic at tecolote canyon. He is doing an excellent job there. Although he is planning to retire soon. So I may just be back working for both again in the future. I live in clairemont right down
The Vineyard gc is one of American Golf's courses. It's a public course which does offer "player's club" advantages (ask at the course). A great course and experience - have fun.
No, but check Golfnow for discounted tee times
No membership
It's no membership required. This course does get a lot of play but it is usually kept and pretty darn good condition for the play that it gets. It's a good course for the money
No memebership required. They have a players club that gets certain discounts though. This is by far my favorite course, always well kept and beautiful year round.
A beautiful course. Enjoy your round...
